The Importance Of Unity

Why is Unity Important?

When President Russell M. Nelson called on everyone for a second fast during our 2020 April General Conference, no one knew the impact of just how the world would be strengthened. It was beautiful to see so many people of different faiths come together in one purpose. A Facebook group was started to share the invitation to fast across the world. With great love for God, people of all beliefs joined with us. Afterwards, the name of the group was changed to Worldwide Unified where people continue to...

Can I Heal Others if I Lack Faith? How Do I Help My Unbelief?

In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we will have numerous opportunities to serve in capacities where we can bless and heal others.  Do we need to have perfect faith, or is it enough to offer what little faith we have? In Alma 32:27, we read, “But behold, if ye will awake and arouse your faculties, even to an experiment...

Do Politics Play a Part in Religion?

Politics have been hard at work around the globe for much of 2020.

“Wherefore, hear my voice and follow me, and you shall be a free people,
and ye shall...

Or perhaps we think we need to approach random strangers and tell them about the Church as many current missionaries do in street contacting. Both of those options can feel quite intimidating. We do not need to do either.

Elder Uchtdorf addressed us about our mortal journey with the gospel saying, “We talk about our journey with others in normal and natural ways....

Which is more important, reading a minimum number of pages in the scriptures each day or pondering what you read?

Which is more important, reading a minimum number of pages in the scriptures each day or pondering what you read?

The Lord has repeatedly taught us to study the scriptures throughout history. John 5:39 teaches, “search the scriptures, for in them ye think ye have eternal life; for they are they which testify of me.”

Years ago, I attended a two-year college in frigid eastern Idaho by the name of Ricks College. It was very much a small-town school with a worldwide reputation. It was a blessing for me to attend school there as I left my...
